red challenge
here is the shot of the cardinal that i got on the day that ruth and i had the red challenge, but since i already had a cardinal in december's photo-a-day, i used a shot of a house fince that came into the back yard right after instead. plus there was a branch hiding this guy's beak, too bad, so sad! ;)

ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I can't understand why "my" cardinal isn't that red. I swear, the one that comes by my home is more on the orange side, not as red as this one. =( And I'm sure it's a cardinal because he's with his mate and she looks exactly like a female cardinal is supposed to... I also have some roselins that are coming so I know it's not one of them either.
ReplyDeleteAren't they such a gorgeous bird..............I am still waiting for a good shot but I am at least encouraged by the fact they are coming for frequently to the garden.
